Kelley Blue Book Compares the 2025 Toyota Camry with The Honda Accord

The Toyota Camry has been the best-selling sedan in the U.S.A. for decades. Its latest version continues to offer the space, comfort, efficiency, and quality you expect in a mid-size sedan. Its bold new looks inside and out are equally matched with a standard hybrid driveline.  

Being a bestseller in its class, it has seen its competition dwindle over the past several years. However, one such vehicle dares to compete with the new 2025 Camry – the Honda Accord.  

Kelley Blue Book recently compared the Kentucky-built Camry with the Ohio-produced Accord in a battle between these two family sedans. Which American-assembled hybrid vehicle will come out on top? 

One feature that makes the Camry stand out is its available all-wheel drive system. The additional traction from this system is perfect for South Dakota’s climate – from stormy summers to snow-bound winters. Even better, AWD is available on all Camry trim levels. KBB said, “the Camry [is] a better choice for drivers who want more confidence-inspiring traction on snowy roads.” 

Pricing-wise, the Camry comes out on top. With a starting MSRP of $28,700, it is one of the best values in its size class.  

Every Camry comes with an efficient hybrid driveline. It is a powerful combination of a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, two-to-three electric motors – depending on whether you choose front- or all-wheel drive – and a regenerating battery pack for lower emissions. All told, there is 232 net combined horsepower available for short hops around town or long highway drives into the next state.  

On the Camry side of the ledger, KBB noted that the Toyota returned better fuel economy than the Honda. The EPA states the Camry can achieve around 51 MPG in combined city/highway driving.  

There is much more to the 2025 Camry than just fuel economy, hybrid performance, and price. It is a feature-rich sedan with a long list of amenities you will love. Some models offer a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with a head-up display for focused driving. City driving is better managed with Traffic Jam Assist, as it keeps you in pace through the worst traffic jams around – and we’re not just talking about driving in the Twin Cities, Fargo-Moorhead, or Sioux Falls.
