​​The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Goes From Strength to Strength​

The Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is one of the best-selling vehicles in South Dakota. The strength of the 2026 Silverado 1500 is the power of choice. There are nine trim levels to explore: WT, Custom, Custom Trail Boss, LT, RST, LT Trail Boss, LTZ, High Country, and ZR2. There are also four engines to choose from. In addition to the TurboMax, there is a 5.3-liter V8, a 6.2-liter V8, and the Duramax 3.0-liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder diesel. The 6.2-liter V8 receives a new calibration for the dual-mode exhaust system.  

The 2026 Silverado 1500 goes from strength to strength. That includes offering the best-in-class standard torque with the 2.7-liter TurboMax turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 430 pound-feet of low-end grunt. To give the TurboMax a serious signal boost, the new RST Select Special Edition will be available for 2026. This Silverado 1500 adds more features and value to go along with this efficient and powerful engine. It will be available in a Crew Cab with either 2WD or 4WD, along with a 2WD Double Cab. 

The 2026 RST Select Special Edition includes a set of 20-inch high gloss black wheels wearing all-terrain tires, a pair of 4-inch Black Round Assist Steps, a spray-on bedliner, and all-weather front and rear floor liners. This special 2026 Silverado 1500 will only come in six colors: Black, Summit White, White Sands Solid, Sterling Gray Metallic, Riptide Blue Metallic, and Radiant Red Tintcoat. The White Sands Solid paint color is new for the 2026 Silverado 1500. Polar White Tintcoat is also a new paint option for this new model year.  

The ZR2 adds a standard MultiFlex tailgate and the Technology Package, including a Rear Camera Mirror, multi-color 15-inch Diagonal Head-Up Display, Power Tilt/Telescoping steering column, and Adaptive Cruise Control, and a Bed View Camera. 

The RST Select Edition is one of six special editions available for the 2026 Silverado 1500. You can also choose between the Redline Edition, the ZR2 Bison from American Expedition Vehicles, Midnight Edition, TurboMax Blackout Edition, and the Rally Edition, available only on the RST and Custom trim levels.   

No matter which 2026 Silverado 1500 you choose, you get a great pickup truck. Its strength is measured by toughness in how it will get the job done for you. It is also efficient and capable of towing or playing out in the dirt.
