The Exciting New Toyota RAV4 Will Be Here Soon

Toyota is continuing to dominate the Hybrid car market with the introduction of the all-new, sixth-generation 2026 Toyota RAV4, which features either a Hybrid or Plug-In Hybrid powertrain for all seven trim levels.

Trim Levels
Buyers will be able to choose their new RAV4 in either Core, Sport, or Rugged. It will be available in seven different trim levels, including LE, XLE, Limited, SE, XSE, the new Woodland off-road ready trim, and the first-ever GR Sport RAV4. The GR Sport has been specially tuned by GAZOO Racing with better handling, a unique sporty exterior design, exclusively offered with a Plug-In Hybrid powertrain, and all-wheel drive.

Engines and Horsepower
All models come standard with a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder Hybrid or Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV). All Standard front-wheel drive RAV4 Hybrid models will have a combined output of 226 horsepower, while all-wheel drive models will have 236 horsepower. Opting for a PHEV RAV4 will see buyers have up to 320 horsepower at their beck and call.
Towing Capacity
All AWD HEV and PHEV models will be able to tow up to 3,500 lbs, while FWD and the all-wheel drive LE models can tow as much as 1,750 lbs when properly equipped.

A Smart and Comfortable Interior
The interior of the all-new RAV4 will delight riders with SofTex fabric that is both comfortable and environmentally friendly. Available colors include black, light gray, and Mineral in the Woodland trim level. XSE and GR Sport models get seats trimmed in BRIN•NAUB microsuede and SofTex.

Available Infotainment System
The latest Toyota Audio Multimedia System will consist of either a standard 10.5-inch or optional 12.9-inch touchscreen, a standard 6-speaker sound system that can be upgraded to a 9-speaker JBL premium sound system.

Charging Your PHEV RAV4
Toyota estimates that buyers who choose the Plug-In model will have 50 miles of all-electric driving range and can charge their XSE and Woodland trims at a Level 3 DC fast charger from 10-80 percent in just 30 minutes.
A Future Top Safety Pick?
The Toyota RAV4 has been consistently awarded as a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. While the latest 2026 model hasn’t been crash tested yet, expect it to be very safe thanks to Toyota Safety Sense 4.0 (TSS 4.0), the latest suite of safety and convenience features that include a number of advanced and updated technologies to keep all of the vehicle’s occupants safe. More information about the specific safety features will be available from Toyota soon.
